at first, i pretty awe bcause you cal already watch in hd. assuming it has only released less than a month, it is awesome. this post will be so much for a spoil, so if you dont want to know and want to figure out yourself, dont read it.
this movie is telling a story about animal exploitation. as you can see, it is a pig. a giant magical pig as i may add. so there's a big food company that think selling meat as a food is no longer benificial, and people start to think it is unhealthy. so this leader, lucy mirando of miranco company (starring by tilda swinton) is decided to have a genetic experinment, when pig, as the most delicious meat you can ask, is so big so they can produce it in a massive way. but she thinks that raising a pig on a lab is not the best way, so she begin to promote the program. the plan is to distribute the magical pig into poor areas around the world, give it to the local farmer and let them grow. this plan works for 10 years, after that the company will join a huge bussiness.

long story short, one pig named okja, given by a little girl mija, is leaving happyly in mountain area on souther korea. they live side by side as a very best friend, helping each other and no one can't live without the others. buy the time mija turns 14, 10 years after she had okja, the company takes back what they have. returning okja back to the lab to be well produced and turn into steak, hotdog, rib, anything you can possibly eat. but mija doesnt give okja that easy. so much for a imaginary friendship ha? she get help by an organization call Animal Life Defender (ALF). there's a little bit of twist plot right here and there that makes the story interesting.

oh, it's the story that makes you cry hard yet the ending is happy.
here's my review:
the story is awesome. i myself cried so hard like a pig (if you know what i mean), and get so emotionally touched. i guarantee you that after you watch this you will think that human is so freaking nasty and brutal. beside the story, i give 5 of 5 for the cast. it's not that korean as i think it would be, cause many of the casts is not a korean. it's not as magical or out of your mind kind of story. the set it nice, the plot, the twist plot, the sound, you name it. all good. though i skip a bit in some scenes where thet torture okja so bad. yes, adult advisory is required when you watch it with kids.
