Active ( S + V1 + O) = Father always reads the newspaper every morning.
Passive (S + to be (am, are, is) + V3 + by + O =
The newspaper is always read by my father every morning.
The room is cleaned by me everyday.
The cat is fed by him twice a day.
Some roses are planted in my garden.
The bread is eaten by my brother.
Contoh Kalimat Passive Voice dalam Tenses Lain
Selain dalam bentuk simple present tense, passive voice juga bisa berbentuk tenses lainnya. Simak beberapa rumus dan contohnya berikut ini.
1. Present Continuous Tense
Active (S + to be + V1-ing + O) = They are writing a short story now.
Passive (S + to be + being + V3 + by + O = A short story is being written by them now.
2. Present Perfect Tense
Active (S + have/has + past participle/V3 + O) = The manager has interviewed some candidates.
Passive (S + have/has + been + V3 + by + O) = Some candidates have been interviewed by the manager.
3. Simple Past Tense
Active (S + V2 + O) = Mr. Wahyu watched the movie in the theater yesterday.
Passive (S + to be + V3 + by + O) = The movie was watched by Mr. Wahyu in the theater yesterday.
4. Past Continuous Tense
Active (S + to be + V-ing + O) = Wati was buying some cookies last night.
Passive (S + to be + being + V3 + by + O) = Some cookies were being bought by Wati last night.
