Airport that is located in the Garzi Tibetian of China's Sichuan province is the highest airport in the world. It was build in a mountainous region and sits 14,472 feet above the sea level.

Since the 16th of September 2013, Daocheng Yading Airport, was constructed at the cost of $255 million to handle average 280.000 passengers per year. There are only three airline companies that operated in this airport, Air China, Sichuan Airlines, and the China Eastern Airlines.
