Sleep Deprived is one of deadliest cause of death, let alone human in this era of technologies are living in a very fast world. There are no really any clear lines anymore between work and social life.
Here are 5 health consequences of sleep deprivation.
1. Cancer
Disrupted sleep schedules linked to a higher risk of several cancers, most notably colon and breast cancers.
2. Skin Aging
According to research from the University od Wisconsin, poor sleep quality is strongly correlated with chronic skin problems. That when your skin is damaged, it doesn't heal well if you're lacking of sleep and leads to skin aging.
3. No Control

Obese and other unhealthy behaviors is mainly suffered by tired people. They tend to have harder time to control their impulsive actions, resisting high-calories foods, and also craves more unhealthy meals.
4. Loneliness
Loneliness is one of the cause and effect of sleep deprivation. Researchers found that sleep-deprived people are lonely. To make things worse, people who feel lonely might lead to other severe sickness such as depression.
5. Short-term memory & long-term memory
Several studies found out that people that is sleepy more likely to have difficulty remembering words they've learned and improving newly learned skills. And long-term sleep deprivation leads to damage your long-term memory too. More likely, worst case scenario people who encounter poor sleep cycle could suffered with Alzheimer.
