In their home country, South Korea, the movie “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” aired on December 20, 2017 with a fantastic number of spectators, 4.7 million people during one week of broadcast.

In Indonesia, the movie “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” has aired on January 5, 2018. The movie aired on cinema Cinemaxx Theater, CGV Cinema and Flix Cinema. The movie is directed by Kim Yong Hwa. The movie is adapted from a webtoon story with the same title.

This movie tells the life after death. The movie starts from a firefighter, Kim Ja Hong who died while rescuing a child from a fire. After death, he is accompanied by 3 guardians who will defend and accompany him in face of the trial in the afterlife, namely Hae Won Maek (Joo Ji Hoon), Lee Deok Choon (Kim Hyang Gi) and captain Kang Rim (Ha Jung Woo).

Because as long as Kim Ja Hong lives he always does goodness, he gets the title as a noble spirit. there are 7 trials for 49 days in the afterlife that Kim Ja Hong must face, so he can reincarnate and life again. 7 trials to go through: betrayal, violence, laziness, murder, injustice, deception and kinship.

But Kim Ja Hong's journey has to face obstacles because his brother, Kim Su Hong (Kim Dong Won) who died and became a vengeful spirit. Kim Su Hong died because of his friend, Won Dong Yeon (Oh Kyung So) accidentally shot him with a shotgun. In panic and fear, the commander told his friend to bury him and ask to hide his whereabouts. Kim Su Hong died of running out of air in the ground, he was burned alive by the commander and his friend. But because of the help of captain Kang Rim, the vengeful spirit can be destroyed and Kim Ja Hong can continue his journey towards the afterlife and reincarnate.

the movie is a bit telephonic and a bit boring, with the duration of the movie for 139 minutes. Acting of lead actor and role actor is good and entertaining, coupled with the cast who have handsome face, which makes this movie get more points. We will also be presented with a curious storyline, making emotions up and down, from laughing to tears.

The movie is packed very well, with a complicated storyline, but easy to understand. Visual effects are displayed very good and no less good with overseas and hollywood movies. The quality of editing is also very good and looks real, coupled with the music and sound that fit that makes the scene look really real. The genre of the movie is fantasy-drama movie.

The ending of this movie is cliffhanger, where Kim Ja Hong is reincarnated to be a human again, but the audience is intrigued to know whether he and his mother can get back to normal, before he dies or like a stranger, because when Kim Ja Hong sees his mother, he just smiles and go. And how Kim Su Hong can become a noble spirit, whereas he is a vengeful spirit who can not even enter the hereafter, not explained in the movie.

This film teaches us to always do goodness, because what we do in the world, will be accounted for in the afterlife. this movie makes a lesson for us, to appreciate life more, lest we regret what we have done in life.

This movie is recommended to watch with your family and loved ones. So, do not miss this movie, because you will not regret after watching this movie. and reportedly, there will be a second part of this movie that will air in 2018. Let's wait for further news.
