Thor Ragnarok Movie Review

Thor Ragnarok is fantasy-science fiction movie. This movie is directed by Taika Waititi (Taika David Waititi). He is a New Zealand film director, screenwriter, actor, and comedian. This movie published on October 2017. This movie get 7.9/10 rating from IMDb. Cinematography by Javier Aguirresarobe is very nice. How the events looks really real. It is the great movie to watch because this movie tells about how the main character (Thor) as a superhero loose his weapons that became his strength during the time and he should fight to save his people from the ragnarok that come to his place. Beside the action scene, there are some comedy scene that able to balance the fight scenes in this movie. The Music of this movie is helpful in make the audience feel the atmosphere of the events that occur in the film. The characters here success in playing their role in movie. They played it very well.

There are some setting of places from this movie. The story begin in the fire demon Surtur’s place, Muspelheim. Surtur said that Odin will no longer in Asgard and he will be a ragnarok for Asgard. Then, after Odin’s death, Hela (Odin’s first born child) come to take a command of Asgard. She is very powerful and ambitious. Thor and Hela get a little fight, Hela broke Thor’s hammer. Then he try to go back to Asgard but Hela follow him in portal. He is falling from the portal because of the fight with Hela to a garbage dump and someone found him. She sell Thor to the Grandmaster of an alien planet, called Sakaar. He is being a Sakaar’s gladiator. There, Thor meet Hulk, his partner in Avenger. They became an enemy and they have to fight each other. After they fight, they are in the same room. Thor ask about how Hulk come to this place. Hulk said he rode the Quinjet. Thor ask the Valkyrie who sell Thor to the Grandmaster to help him. Hulk follows Thor to the Quinjet, there is a recording of Natasha Romanoff that makes Hulk back into Banner and they cooperate to escape from Sakaar. Then, they come to Asgard to stop the ragnarok.

From this movie, we have learn that losing the weapons does not mean losing the real power, and the one who try to find a way, he/she will get the way to solve his/her problems.
