Former Deputy Bali Governor Arrested

DENPASAR, kanalbali.com - Former Deputy Bali Governor I Ketut Sudikerta was arrested on Thursday for multiple accusations, including money laundering, fraud, and embezzelment. Sudikerta was arrested at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport when he was going to fly to Jakarta.

Bali Police's special crime unit team arrested the Golkar politician at the airport after he failed to appear at police station for an interrogation. "Yes, Ketut Sudikerta has been arrested today at 2.19 p.m. at the airport. H is now undergoing an examination at cybercrime unit," Bali Police's spokesperson Sr. Comr. Hengky Wijaja confirmed.

If found guilty, Sudikerta could be sentenced up to 20 years imprisonment. Watch the video when he was arrested. (kanalbali/ZTE)
