Dibawakan dengan musik ballad namun tetap powerful, "Reckless" menceritakan kisah patah hati seorang wanita yang diperlakukan semena-mena oleh sang kekasih, termasuk menduakannya dan menjalin hubungan dengan wanita lain.

"Reckless" merupakan single pertama dalam album kedua Madison yang rencananya akan dirilis akhir tahun ini. Video klipnya dirilis pada 29 Juni 2021 dan telah mendapatkan lebih dari 18 juta views.

Video klip tersebut disuguhkan dengan visual effect yang memanjakan mata dengan menampilkan Madison Beer versi mini yang seolah masuk ke dalam kisah cintanya sendiri.
