PerbesarAjang penghargaan MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMA) 2022 yang digelar di Prudential Center, Newark, sudah mengumumkan daftar para pemenangnya. Sejumlah nama berhasil membawa pulang beberapa penghargaan di ajang penghargaan musik paling bergengsi tersebut.
Seperti Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, dan Lil Nas X Jack Harlow ketiganya berhasil memboyong tiga penghargaan sekaligus. Taylor Swift menang untuk kategori Video of the Year, Best Longform Video, dan Best Direction berkat lagunya yang berjudul All Too Well.
Sementara Harry Styles menang untuk kategori Best Pop, Album of the Year, dan Best Cinematography. Sedangkan Lil Nas X Jack Harlow berhasil menang untuk tiga kategori Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, dan Best Visual Effects berkat lagu mereka yang berjudul Industry Baby.
Tahun ini, ada dua kategori baru yang muncul dalam MTV Music Awards 2022, yaitu Best Metaverse Performance dan Best Longform Video. Untuk Best Metaverse Performance berhasil dimenangkan Blackpink. Sementara untuk Best Longform Video dimenangkan Taylor Swift.
