Review Movie AYAT - AYAT CINTA 2

Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 is a film adapted from the novel works Habiburahman El Shirazy. Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 was released in Indonesia on December 21st, 2017. Other than in Indonesia this movie was released in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam on January 11th 2018. The film is directed by Guntur Soehardjanto. The genre of this film is Drama. This film is the second film Ayat-ayat Cinta which was successful in the year 2008 and was directed by Hanung Bramantyo. This film is a film eagerly awaited by Aisah and Fahri lovers. Based on my opinion, the directed is Hanung Bramantyo in the first Ayat-ayat Cinta has succeeded in creating Aisah and Fahri become the idol in life.

My opinion, Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 film very different with Ayat-ayat 1. Starting with actor and actress, storyline, characterization. First, the actress Aisah replaced by Dewi Sandra before by Rianti Cartwright. Aisah in this second film less “Greget” than the first film. Second, many the actor or the actress present in this second film. Third, my opinion the storyline in this film a little bit not related to the first movie, and the last characterization. Characterization of Fahri in Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 very different with Ayat-ayat Cinta 1. In Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 Fahri is a Moslem man who is perfect. He is not a bad boy. Moreover, this second film a little bit different with the first film but it has the good rating. Based on IMDB this film has rating 5.5/ 10 stars and based on my opinion as a new viewer give 6/10 stars.

Every literary work, especially film has cinematography. Based on my opinion, the cinematography in Ayat-ayat Cinta 2 very interesting. Yudi Datau managed to capture the scenery of Edinburgh. Other than at Edinburgh, the setting of place in Gaza but the process of shooting in Jakarta. He replaces the location in Jakarta like a Gaza (areas of conflict). In part of Aisah detained the army entrance to jail then she ruins his face, I can feel the atmosphere of that. He uses black and white color like a flashback because in that situation Aisah has been meeting with Fahri and she explained the reason why she is not meet him.

After the cinematography, I will give the opinion about music and sound from this movie. Hmmm, when I watch this movie I can not identify the title of music and who is the singer. Every part of this film I think there is not a special music or singer but in the end part of credit title, there is the music from Raisa Andriana as a singer. Hmmm, I think in an intense scene or romantic scene should there is a special music in order the viewer remember this film. Moreover, the act of Fedi Nuril as Fahri, I think he is the best act. The act of his very animating. He has made every girl in Indonesia spellbound and dreaming the man like him. The act of Dewi Sandra as Aisah also animating but I think she cannot replace Aisah in Ayat-ayat Cinta 1. Overall the act of the actor or the actress of this film is good but there is something wrong which is in every people who meet Fahri always uses Indonesia language.

For editing, I will give opinion great editing. In part Aisah in Gaza like a real in Gaza. The setting of place I think great wherever shooting in Edinburgh. As we know Edinburgh has the beautiful scenery in Scotland. Every literary work has a moral value included in this film. I get a moral value of this film are always appreciate tolerance, appreciate diversity, appreciate each other. If you can help another do that even though have different beliefs, and for love is no matter how far away if the soulmate will meet again like an Adam and Hawa. Thus, this film very recommended watching. Every part of the scene has moral value.
