The Importance of English in the World of Work

Many questions ask about the importance of English in the world of work, so the answer to these questions is very simple, namely because English has become a universal language used in the world of technology, education, politics, commerce, and so on. Language is the most crucial communication tool. Whether you like it or not, English currently dominates all aspects of communication. We can see almost all electronic devices using English. Most countries in Asia also use English as the 'Medium of Instruction' or make English a second language after their national language.

QS. Al Mujadalah: 11

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِذَا قِيْلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوْا فِى الْمَجٰلِسِ فَافْسَحُوْا يَفْسَحِ اللّٰهُ لَكُمْۚ وَاِذَا قِيْلَ انْشُزُوْا فَانْشُزُوْا يَرْفَعِ اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مِنْكُمْۙ وَالَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجٰتٍۗ وَاللّٰهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ

Meaning: O you who believe! When it is said to you, "Give space in the assemblies," then make it clear, surely Allah will give you space. And if it is said, "Stand up ye," then stand up, surely Allah will raise (the degree) those who believe among you and those who are given several degrees of knowledge. And Allah is observant of what you do.
