Menjelang kenaikan kelas, siswa yang saat ini sedang duduk di kelas 2 SD, sebaiknya sudah mulai mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi materi yang akan dipelajari di kelas 3 SD. Termasuk materi bahasa Inggris kelas 3 SD Kurikulum Merdeka.

Untuk diingat, materi yang diampu dalam Kurikulum Merdeka cukup berbeda dibandingkan kurikulum sebelumnya. Oleh karena itu, akan lebih baik jika orang tua juga sudah mulai membimbing sang buah hati dalam mempersiapkan diri memasuki kelas 3 SD.

Objectives:

Objectives:

1. Students are able to say food and drink using like and dislike.

2. Students are able to respond written text using likes and doesn’t like.

3. I Have Fried Chicken for Breakfast

Objectives:

1. Students are able to mention breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

2. Students are able to mention food and drink for each meal time.

3. Students are able to respond orally and in written teacher’s question on their meals.

Language Focus:

1. Joshua has breakfast.

2. They have lunch.

3. Joshua and his family have dinner.

4. Cici’s family have … for breakfast.

4. Do You Like Swimming?

Objectives:

1. Students are able to say what they like doing (reading, studying, swimming, watching, singing, playing, riding bike).

2. Students are able to talk about their hobby and their friend’s hobby.

3. Students are able to respond with yes/no question.

1. Swimming, reading, …

Objectives:

1. Students are able to mention names of a day.

Objectives:

1. Students are able to name rooms at school.

7. My Class is Behind the Office

Objectives:

1. Students are able identify the preposition.

2. Students are able to mention the position of rooms at school.

8. I Drink Orange Juice in the Canteen

Objectives:

1. Students are able to identify the activities at school

2. Students are able to list the activities at school.

3. Students are able to tell activities at school.

2. Study, teach, drink, eat, pray, read, and write.

9. My Classroom is Clean

Objectives:

1. Students are able to identify the condition of rooms at school.

2. Students are able to describe the rooms condition.

1. Adjective.

2. Large, clean, narrow, small, big, dirty, wide.

10. The Are Twenty Books on the Shelf

Objectives:

1. Students are able to mention number 21-50.

2. Students are able to count things at the classroom.

3. Students are able to list the things in the classroom there is and there are.

Language Focus:

1. Numbers 21-50.
