In each class, there are students with diverse characters and backgrounds. Students can have differences in culture, language, religion, and even abilities. As a teacher, we should not only use one teaching metode for all students. Each student has different abilities and learning needs. There are fast learning student and slow learning student.

Each student has their own way of understanding lesson. Fast learning student can understand lessons easily. In the other hand, slow learning student take longer time to understand the same lesson. Especially in mathematics, which some students find it difficult to understand. Slow learning student needs a simpler way of presenting material and using contextual problem so it is easy to understand. Without the right learning approach, slow learning student can lose motivation to learn and feel left behind.
As a mathematic teacher, if I have slow learning student, I will adjust my teaching methods and prepare material that is easy to understand. I can’t be selfish and look for easy way to teach using one teaching method without thinking about the different needs of student. So I need to implement differentiates instruction.
