Review on Naïf: No-Nonsense Skincare

One of the most common problems in woman self-care is hair care. How we maintain the hair healthy but still looked on fleek? This is one of my hair problems. I want my hair to be soft and healthy, but for many events across the week, I need to style my hair in various ways that may or may not be risking my hair condition.

As a result of this routine, my hair becomes so dry, especially on the tips. I can’t not styling my hair for events, and I can’t delay washing my hair if tomorrow I need my hair in the best condition.

See, we all have this dilemma. That’s why, I’m thrilled when the Shonet with Naïf send me their body and hair care products to try and review. Naïf are a Netherlands brand that just releasing their product in Indonesia. Their tagline, “No Nonsense Skincare” express what they think about their product, that’s by the way are made with natural ingredients and no chemicals. This brand believes that your skin needs the best high quality natural product with most logical care. The natural ingredients including Linseed Oil and Macadamia Nut Oil with many benefits for healthy skin. This makes Naïf products one of the environmentally conscious brands in the country.

The Review

Here's the individual review of each product:

-          Naïf Nourishing Shampoo: smells subtle without strong fragrance, more to refreshing natural scent. Easy to use with squish able and light packaging. Don’t produce too much bubble and easy to rinse off.

-          Naïf Softening Conditioner: the scent is similar to their shampoo. Thick consistency but easy to blend. Doesn’t need to much time to applied, and could be rinsed off quite immediately.

-          Naïf Nourishing Hand Cream: smells nice, thick in consistency. Easy to spread over the skin and I could feel the smooth result.

 

After the second times using these products, I could feel the different texture on my hair ends. More soft and gentle hair, even after I styled it using my usual curling iron. Not only that, my hair didn’t lose any volume and looks shinier. For my hands, I could feel how supple the skin feels without any sticky afterwards.

Before, I’m a little hesitating using conditioner product because my previous esthetician mentions that Conditioner may have some influence on my past’s face breakout. Turns out some chemical ingredients could affected the hormone in the skin (when the hair in contact with skin surface), and may result in a breakout on the skin. But maybe because Naïf products are made with natural ingredients, my skin is fine after 1 week using their product.

Overall, I am so satisfied with the result and definitely continuing on using it. I hope many people could try this product too because their skincare are good for any type of skin.
