Hey everyone, welcome to my page! Since this is my first post up here, let me introduce myself. I am Ashley, a , teen influencer and entrepreneur. Aside from posting , travel photos, and product reviews on my main Instagram account @alyssa.ashley since 2014, I am also the sole founder of @althea.official, an accessory line focusing on bags, hats, and reusable straws, as well as @shutterbird.id, a new product photography service in the making. I am also a high-school student based in Jakarta.
Enough about me, I wanted to give you guys a brief review on some beauty products I received from Wardah x Lazada earlier today. Since I haven't had the time to try out these products yet, I will only be reviewing them based on their claims and packaging, and I will be posting a follow-up full review of these products in a week or so after they are tried and tested. So here are some of the products I received today:
1. Wardāh White Secret Day Cream
2. Wardāh White Secret Night Crem
3. Wardāh White Secret Facial Wash
To begin, let's discuss their packaging. At first glance, all three of the products seem to share a aesthetic, since all three come from the same White Secret line. Just like their name, the products are packaged in identical, glossy-white squeeze tubes to help ease application while keeping everything clean and sanitary. While the both the day and night creams are packaged in boxes and about 10cm tall, the face wash is much larger at 20cm tall and not placed in a box. The minimalist Silver-White design on all the packaging is very clean and professional, and very suitable their collection. Overall, I'd rate a solid 5 stars to Wardah's packaging.
To begin, here are some of the claims of Wardah's White Secret Day Cream. On the front of the box, right under their brand and collection name, it states that it contains SPF 35, PA +++ with an Advanced-White Specific System. It is also mentioned on the side of the box that it protects against both UV-A and UV-B rays. This is great since it has sun protection which will be highly beneficial to us in Indonesia when it's summer all year round. It also claims to “promote radiance and brighter complexion” with their Crystal-White Active technology. This technology is claimed to brighten skin while keeping it soft and . Thus, to summarize, Wardah's White Secret day cream claims to be able to protect the skin against harsh UV rays while acting as a moisturizer to help soften and moisturize the skin.
Coming up next is their Night Cream. Wardah's White Secret Night Cream is very to their Day Cream counterpart. Like the day cream, the night cream claims to use both Advanced-White Specific System and Crystal White Active Technology. The only difference to the two is the night cream's lack of SPF and an addition of Derma-Peptide technology. This claims to help repair the skin from dark spots and further moisturize the skin overnight.
Lastly, we have Wardah's White Secret Face Wash, which claims to contain Natural AHA + BHA and has a pH Balanced Formula to help lift dirt, leftover makeup, and other impurities from the skin while giving the skin a brightening and softening boost. Overall, the face wash claims to take away dirt and leftover makeup from the skin, as well to brighten the skin and give it a silky-soft finish.
At a glance, these products by Wardah x Lazada seem very and mainly aim to give the skin a smooth, soft, and brightening finish. Their packaging spot on, looking very clean and minimalistic, while their products' claims also seem to appeal greatly to the Indonesian population who deals with sun-damage and dullness from our city's population.
