Mengutip buku Soal-soal Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) karya Saeful Zaman (2006), Tes Potensi Akademik (TPA) merupakan tes untuk mengukur kemungkinan keberhasilan seseorang jika orang tersebut berada pada posisi tertentu yang membutuhkan kemampuan akademis.
