PerbesarJadwal MPL S9 2022 telah dirilis oleh Moonton Indonesia melalui kanal media sosial dan website resmi MPL Indonesia. Turnamen ini dimulai pada hari Jumat, 18 Februari 2022 dengan pertandingan pembuka antara Geek Fam ID vs RRQ Hoshi pada pukul 15.00 WIB.
Gelaran turnamen Mobile Legends terbesar di Indonesia ini dapat disaksikan melalui bioskop Cinepolis, Nimo TV, YouTube, TikTok, Vidio dan Facebook. Khusus untuk Cinepolis, tiket bisa dibeli melalui platform online seperti tiket.com, Tix ID dan Gotix.
Mobile Legends Professional League Season 9 kali ini diikuti oleh 8 tim eSports terbesar di Indonesia antara lain, Geek Fam ID, RRQ Hoshi, Rebellion Esports, Bigetron Alpha, Alter Ego Esports, ONIC Esports, EVOS Legends dan AURA Esports.
Kedelapan tim eSport Mobile Legends ini akan bertarung di MPL ID untuk dan menjadi yang terbaik dan mendapatkan gelar juara di Season 9.

Jadwal MPL S9 2022 memiliki format dan sistem game yang sama seperti sebelumnya, setelah Regular Season selesai maka akan berlanjut ke Babak Play-off untuk memperebutkan juara pertama. Total hadiah sebesar 300.000 dolar AS atau Rp 4,3 miliar yang terbagi menjadi juara 1 sebesar Rp 2 miliar, juara 2 Rp 963 juta, dan juara 3 Rp 400 juta.
