PerbesarRose Blackpink akhirnya merilis mini album debut solonya. Setelah Jennie, ia merupakan anggota kedua Blackpink yang telah resmi melaksanakan debut solonya dengan merilis album berjudul ‘R’ pada Jumat (12/03/21) di Korea Selatan.
Dalam album ‘R’ tersebut terdapat beberapa lagu yang dia ditulis sendiri, di antaranya ‘Gone’ dan ‘On The Ground’. Lagu ‘On The Ground’ sendiri diproduseri oleh Jorgen Odegard, Ojovolta, Teddy, Jon Bellion dan 24.
Album itu sukses menempati posisi pertama di berbagai situs musik Korea seperti Genie dan Bug. Pemilik nama asli Roseanne Park ini ingin mengangkat tema tentang cerminan diri dan cinta kepada diri sendiri.
Tak hanya itu, album Rose Blackpink sendiri ternyata sudah dipesan sebanyak lebih dari 400 ribu kopi. Ini merupakan rekor terbaru pemesanan album solois K-Pop terbanyak. Rencananya tanggal 16 Maret nanti, Rose akan menghadiri acara ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ untuk mempromosikan debutnya berskala internasional.
